Theresa Willoughby was born October 28, 1920 in Darlington, South Carolina to the late Gideon and Dora Coe.

Resa, as most of her friends and family called

her, attended was united in

Darlington Public Schools. marriage to the late John

wR. esa

Willoughby and from this union 4 children were

born. She moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

in 1940 where she became an employee of The

Pennsylvania Laundry for 33 years until she

became ill 3 years ago. Since then she has

been through a very lengthy illness.

Resa was a very loving person and she was loved by everyone who knew her. She remained pleasant throughout her illness.

On Thursday morning, April 1st she departed from this life in Misericordia Hospital.

Resa leaves to mourn her home going; one daughter, Elzena; one son, Wiley; one son-in-law, Ozie; one daughter-in-law, Gladys; 5 grandchildren, Wanda, Kelvin, Micheal, Keith, and Donald; six sisters, Mrs. Naomi Dostie, Darlington, S.C., Fannie L. Rogers, Drooklyn, N.Y., Dora Coe and Estelle Edwards both of Philadelphia, Pa., Mrs. Ruth Joseph and Mary Poole both of Derlin, N.J.; thrae brothers, Gideon Coe, Jr., Derlin, N.J., Isaiah Coe, Darlington, S.C. and Judge Coe, Marlton, Penna.; nine brother's-in-law, four sister's-in-law, one uncle, one aunt, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
