hituart!
Mr. Robert Lee Williams, Sr., the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Willie Lee (Lillie) Williams, was born December 18, 1930. He received Christ at an early age and joined Mount Zion Baptist Church, Buckhead, Georgia.
He was married to Mildred Terrell and moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 1953. He was employed by Wright and Lopez Construction where he retired after forty years of service in 1993.
Mr. Williams departed this life Monday, June 23, 1997 and leaves to cherish his loving memory, a devoted wife, Mildred (Gladys); four sons, Robert Lee Williams, Jr., Charles Eason, Mandel Williams, and Ryan Williams, all of Decatur, Georgia; four daughters, Christine Williams, Betty Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Lee (Bernadette) Wright, and Michele Williams, all of Decatur, Georgia; one brother, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin (Brenda) Chapple, Atlanta, Georgia; one aunt, Mrs. Annie Mae Thomas, Buckhead, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In Loving Memory of Robert Lee Williams Early in the morning on June 23, 1997, God opened His Gates for Robert Lee Williams to come Home. Words cannot express how much we miss him, but God allowed Robert Lee Williams to be a great Gardener. He planted many seeds before God called him home. He planted seeds oflove and care within the hearts of his wife, children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. He planted seeds offriendship and sharing throughout his entire community. He planted seeds of hope and understanding in everyone who had a listening ear. Robert Lee Williams' love andfriendship;jokes and laughter, and words ofwisdom and encouragement and hard work allowed each one ofhis seeds to blossom within many hearts and minds. When God saw that his good workmanship was done, He said IT IS FINISHED and He rested TWO WINGS OF LOVE on Robert Lee Williams. God's Holy Spirit guided him with a great Light to rest safely in His Savior's Arms. When Robert Lee Williams reached His Eternal Resting Place, he looked at His Savior's face and shouted "AMEN':
Love, Mia L. Buggs
