Deacon Minnie Frances Williams (Fran), born January 11, 1949 to the late J annie Williams Nelson and the late Herbert Youman in Hampton County, SC. She was reared in the home of her Grandmother and Aunt, the late Minnie Williams Harris, and the late Lois Morris.
She was a 1967 graduate of the former North District training school in Varnvillie SC. At an early age she joined the Second Baptist Church in Brunson SC where she served faithfully. For several years she made Washington DC her home; later she relocated to Atlanta, GA. She united with the New Beginning Full Gospel Church, and later she united with Berean Christian Church in Stone Mountain, GA under the leadership of Pastor Kerwin B. Lee. She served faithfully as a consecrated deacon, Tender Mercies member and a member of the Gospel Choir.
For several years Minnie Frances worked at Georgia Pacific, after which she decided to join the real estate team and became a certified commercial broker for Metro Broker Real Estate Agency.
Minnie Frances Williams leaves to cherish loving memories: her son, Christopher Davis of Atlanta GA; God Daughter, Lamonica Gross of Washington DC; stepfather, T. Nelson of Ne,ark NJ; four grandchildren, DeAonte, MeKaila, Christopher (CJ), and Christian; one God Granddaughter, Ashley; eleven sisters, four brothers, two aunts, one uncle and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and a special lifelong friend, Rodney Jackson of Danville Virginia.
