"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens." (Ecclesiastes 3:1-S,NIV)
A time to be born...
On July 15, 1998, Kacy and Tammy Williams opened their arms to the most amazing spirit, lovingly named Kaylin Iman Williams ("Kay"). Tammy waddled into Northside Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, on a Monday night and delivered Kaylin at 1:00 a.m. the next morning.
A time to grow ...
Kaylin developed a love for education at Wynbrooke Elementary School and continued to excel at Chapel Hill Middle School and Southwest DeKalb High School. Kaylin loved Math and could compute an algebraic equation faster than most of us could blink our eyes.
A time to plant...
An amazing stunt-building, short skirt-wearing, cheer-yelling princess, Kaylin ate, slept, and breathed cheerleading. Even her morning alarm blasted cheer music. She cheered for one year with Platinum All Stars and one year with Top Notch Allstars. But it was with the Georgia All Star Competition Squad that she spent five years tumbling, cartwheeling, and competing. She was also a flyer for the Southwest DeKalb High School Sideline Cheer Squad and the Competitive Cheer Squad. Mommy and Daddy were at her side on Sunday, January 12, 2014, when Kaylin became a flyer on God's squad as she returned to His Love.
A time to love ...
Kaylin always loved God and her church family. On New Year's Eve 2010, Kaylin, along with her mommy, joined The House of Hope Atlanta (The Greater Travelers Rest Baptist Church), and the two of them were baptized together the following January. She was recently selected as one of the youth leaders and was proud to have been selected as the lead in the church's upcoming Black History Month program.

She listened, sang along, and danced her heart away to a very eclectic collection of music, and she had the most contagious smile. If you found a theme park with the highest roller coaster, then Kaylin was down to go. Water park? Snow crab legs? Blow pops? Skittles (in the purple bag, of course)? That was all Kaylin, all day. And don't forget Starbucks and smoothies (Planet Smoothle or her own homemade concoction).
A time to harvest...
Kaylin had already envisioned her seat at either the University of Florida or the University of Georgia, and with her outstanding academic record, it was sure to become a reality. While attending Southwest DeKalb High School, she displayed impeccable leadership skills as a member of Sisters in Action and the Beta Club. She was also a Delta Jem.
Kaylin's heart was huge, and she had a passion for giving. She would always give to the homeless or anyone in need. She always wanted to work in the medical profession and to offer free services to the homeless. She imagined a center where the homeless could come and receive medical attention with no questions asked and no health insurance or money needed.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her devoted parents, Kacy and Tammy Williams; brother, Jared Williams; sister, Ashley Lowe (Paris) Foster; maternal grandmother, Jeannette Walker; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Turner (Azerlene) Williams; dear aunts: Tonya Jackson, Kimberly Wilkinson, Tameka Brown, and Tresa Gay; loving uncles: Kelvin Williams and Robert Mitchell; special friend, Tyrell Frederick; and a host of cousins and beloved friends.
