Making of a Man
That man is a man! Not by birth, but life. Not jhr his stature, but for his heart. Gold doesn i seduce his hands, Honor doesn i turn his heart, Dishonor doesn [turn his feet, Fear doesn t curl his backbone,
Disappointment doesn't cntsh his heart.
He :S' a man day and night, in the light and in The dark, in prosperity and in adversity.
He has quality, and that - not pounds, not inches, Not color --- makes a man.
His grandeur is in his ideals, his beliefS', his practices And there the world should apply the gauges. For the great hope ofour society is In having more people like him.
"Today is Mine" Leroy Brownlow
His life was gentle, And the elements so mix 'din him That Nature might stand up and say to all the world,
"This was a man
Be thou strong therej(Jre, and show thyselfa man. ~ I Kings 2:2
