Reflections on the life Of
Amitha Laquitte Whitfield
Arnitha Laquitte Whitfield, the beloved daughter of the late Mrs. Nadene Lewis Bailey and the late Mr. Eddie Noble, was born on December 4, 1951 in Atlanta, Georgia. She departed this life on January 7, 2003 at her residence, 1648 Kon Tiki Lane.
Arnitha was a graduate of Frederick Douglas High School. A few years after graduation, she became a loving Mother.
Arnitha worked very hard over the years and during these working years, Arnitha was employed by Dobbs International, Seelinger Lee, and Mr. & Mrs. Earl Wasserman. Clearly without a doubt, the one job that was her favorite pastime and joy, was caring for her "little man" David Earl Wasserman.
Arnitha was also a member of First Missionary Full Gospel Baptist Church. She served faithfully as a choir member. Arnitha had a very beautiful and melodious voice. She would always say, "God gave me this voice, so I must use it to give Him all the Praise"
Anyone who ever knew Arnitha for just a short period of time found her to have an enormously generous heart that enhanced the sweet beauty she possessed. Truly she was a blessing. She had no known enemies. Arnitha touched so many lives in so many ways. She "knew no strangers". She will be missed dearly ...
She leaves to cherish her memory: Her loving and devoted husband, James Whitfield Jr. of Jonesboro, GA; Four sons: Jerron D. Fair, Alexsius D. Fair, Octavious D. Fair of Jonesboro, GA and Dameion C. Fair of Atlanta; Two daughters: K.iki C. Fuller (Robert) of Morrow ,GA; Contirious Dillipree of Atlanta, GA; Seven Sisters: Pamela White, Sheila Bailey, Renee' Vaughn, Helen Noble Green, Stephanie Boyd, Shawn Young, and Mercedez Noble. Six brothers: Genous Bailey, Nile Bailey, Niles Noble, Euralh Noble, Isaac Noble and Jamal Noble: Nine Grandchildren: (Twins) Ashunquia, Ashunquanay, Cornelius (DJ), Jameshia, Dameion Jr., Uriah Fair, Malinda Fuller, Khalil and Tonia Hall.
She also leaves to cherish her memory other relatives, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and friends.
