Milton White was born May 5, 1925 in Decatur, Georgia to the late John and Emma White. He was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers. He was united in Holy Matrimony on September 30, 1943 to the late Dorothy S. White. Two sons and two daughters were born to this union.
He joined Thankful Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend W. Leon Tucker and served faithfully and willingly as a bus driver for over thirty years. He also served as an usher on the No. 1 Usher Board and was a dedicated member of Thankful Baptist Church Deacon Board.
His profession as an auto mechanic was also his passion. He retired from Allied Ready Mix at the age of ~
On December 16, 2005, he shed mortality and left for his home in glory to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Left on earth to celebrate his life and cherished memories are: four children, Gwen Reid (Marvin), Nelson White (Christine), Ronald White (Charlotte), and Gayle Perkins (Randolph); one sister, Helen White; grandchildren, Zina Reid-Smith (DeCarlos), Marva Reid, Sabrina Ridley (Ted), Tra-Vance White (Roberta), Ricardo White, Rafael White, Tirell Shy, Terrance White (Arion), Maurice Browner, Ricki Browner (Bridgette), Kenneth Browner (Sandra); twenty seven great grandchildren; two sister-in-laws, Sally Hammond, Louvenia White; one brother-in-law, Leroy Stephens; a special great aunt, Edna House (Poss); a devoted friend Louise Andrews; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. A special thanks to a devoted niece, Tammy Benton, and Dr. Sumita Khatri of the Emory Clinic Pulmonary Medicine.
