Ruby Mae Watson was born September 30, 1917 to Rufus and Ezara Whatley in Coweta County. She departed this life on June 20, 2003.
She confessed Christ at an early age and was baptized at Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Moreland, Georgia.
Her companion, Willie Robinson and two sisters, Vacie McClendon and Daisy Pearson, preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memory and mourn her.passing: her nephews, Jackie Dixon, Johnny Dixon and Richard Whatley (Karen); her nieces, Sherry Dixon and Cecelia Dixon-Young (George); a special friend, Robin Simons; and a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
Don't grieve for me, for I'm free. I'm following the path God laidfor me. I took His hand when I heard Him call.
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day, To laugh, to love, to work or play. Task left undone must stay that way, I found that peace at the close ofthe day.
Ifmy parting has left a void.
Then fill it with rememberedjoy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Oh yes, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times ofsorrow, I wish you sunshine oftomorrow.
My life 's been full I've savored much, Good friends, good times, a loved one 's touch
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief Don 't lengthen it now with undue grief
Life up your heart and share with me God wanted me now,
He Set Me Freel
