BEYOND LIFE'S GATEWAY
There's an open gate at the end of the road. Through which each must go alone; And there is a light we cannot see, Our Father claims His own. Beyond the gate of our loved one, Find happiness and rest; And there is comfort in the thought, That a loving God knows best. God saw the road was getting rough, The hill too hard to climb; So gently He closed her weary eyes, And whispered,. peace be thine. God has called her home to rest, Someone very special in our lives;
Surely we will miss you as time goes by, But there is peace in knowing that
We will all be together again with God on high.
Acknowledgment
Our hearts are filled with gratitude and appreciation for you during our time of bereavement. We want you to know that you have warn1ed our hearts by your kind expressions of condolence. Thank you. May God bless and keep you.

Obituary Of
Monita Finney Ware
"For me to live is Christ and to die is gain For I am in strait between two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ; which is far better.''
Phil I:2 I -23
On Sunday evening of March 4, 2007 another one of God's saints departed to be with Christ. Monita Finney Ware is the daughter of the deceased Ulysses and Clara Roberta Finney. She was born December 2, I 945 in Chicago, Illinois. She departed this life in the Medical Center of Central Georgia on March 4, 2007.
She attended the public schools of Bibb County. She was a graduate of the Peter G. Appling High School, Class of I 964 and a graduate of Fort Valley State University in Fort Valley, Georgia where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. She was a member of GEA (Georgia Educators Association) and taught school in the Bibb County Public School Systen1 in Macon, Georgia. She taught at Progressive Christian Academy and tutored in her home.
At an early age, she joined the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Youth Choir. Later she joined the St. Paul A.M.E. Church.
She was a courageous soldier who battled many years of illness and pain. Her favorite scripture that helped her to survive was Romans 8:28:
"And we know that all things work together for good to them tlmt love God, to them who E-lrc the called according to his purpose. "
She believed in looking her best for the Lord. She always embellished herself as the Lord's queen. She was known by family and close friends for her manicures. She had the exquisite taste of a queen and mannerisms of holiness.
She leaves to mourn: her daughter, Shiquita B. Price; a supportive son-in-law, C. J., III of Macon, GA; one loving grandson, Javoris Price, of Macon, GA; two sisters, Rev. Cynthia (Jesse) Hughes and Minister Gladys (Arlis) Singletary of Macon, GA; three brothers, Rev. UlyssesJerome (Rosalyn) Finney of Macon, GA, Shedrick (Beverly) Finney and Kenneth (Beverly) of Atlanta, GA; four aunts, Martha Pitts of Atlanta, GA, Earnestine Finney and Jesse Banks of Cleveland, OH, and Wilhemenia Moore of Macon, GA; one uncle, Thomas Paul Jones of Chicago, IL; nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and supportive friends.
