Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures;

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence ofmine enanies; Thou anointest my head with oil;
My cup runneth over. Surely goodness and tnercy shall follow tne
All the days of1ny lift; And I will dwell in the house ofthe Lord forever.

No vember 12 , 1919, in Twiggs County, G eorgia , Robert and Ida Hammock announced th e birth of their onl y child , Li zzie Louise. She received her elementary schooling at the Antioch School. At th is time , to get a high school diploma, she had to leave Twiggs C ounty and board with a famil y in Macon . She graduated from Hudson High School, which later became Ballard-Hudson .
After g raduation , she returned to her home in Twi ggs and worked as a substitute teacher. August 1940, she ma rried George H. Ware and began a famil y and was the beginning of a lifelong remembered for years. The children and grandchildren sali vate when chocolate cake, pound cake, sweet potato pie, gin gerbread, turkey and cornbread dressing and many other dished are talked or visioned. Cooking was not the only skill perfected, " Big Lou," the affectionate name ofthe children and grandchildren, had the gift of talking lo w and calm , but serious. She had ad v ice on how to a void bad si tuations and how to help you come to get y ourself out of e very situation nine children could find themsel ves . She retired herself from the kitchen when her eyesight began to fail , but she could still tell us how to prepare different foods. The failing eyesight did not take away the mother's intuition that something was wrong, there was still her calm advice.
When she was admitted to the hospital , " Big Lou" was still ad vising and pray ing for her children and grandchildren and their li ves. As time grew near for her to end her visit on earth, nurses said she was talking out of her head , us kids called it " Big Lou The Preache r. " For two days we heard how she would never hurt anyone, not even a little flea. She knew those hot headed kids needed to be reminded to turn the other cheek. She preached of a forgiving God, that if we fe ll on our knees and asked He would forgive . She did not s top, we heard The Lord 's Prayer with a great explanation after each verse. We thought church was o ver, but not so. This Mother would not leave ti I she was sure we knew how to see her again . The Plan . The God of this Mother, who gave His only begotten Son so that we could see her again , and all we ha ve to do is believe, and Eternal Life is ours . Amen .
" Big Lou ," we will see y ou in Glory.
" Bi g Lou " was prec eded in de ath by her hu s band , Georg e, son s, Robert and Mack, parents, Robert and Ida and g randchildren, Yolanda and Timoth y (Ted) . ONE FINE DA Y
One fine day, I will fly away, to a greater place, their will stay. A perfect place where troubles and
broken hearts don 't exist.
1.'// take my flight willingly, when my time has come, leaving behind family and friends , who will in time
follow one by one.
In Heaven is where I will be, living life happily for eternity.
This is a promise given by Jesus Gods son and I will meet with Him
when my time on earth is done.
My part on earth will be ove~, my story ends this day, when the Angel
comes and takes me away.
This world is not my home you see, I am just traveling through, to go back to a greater place, a place that
I once knew.
