OF
JULIUS C. VINSON
Julius C. Vinson was one of five children born to the union of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar L. Vinson, Sr.
He was agraduate of the Bal lard-Norrrel High School; attended Jesup County Vocational School and California Polylech, where he became certified as a W~ster Welder.
At an early age, he joined the Saint Paul A.M.E. Church and served as an active member of the Sunday School and Junior Choir. Later he was appointed a Trustee and Minister of Music. He was a rrerrber of the Senior Choir, ~~le Chorus and the Board of Trustee. He was a fait hfu I and active merrber of these organizations un t i I h i s hea I t h fa i I ed.
Julius C. Vinson and Sara Rogers were united in Hol y 1\1\a t r irrony Noverrber 26, 1958, and to this union two children were born, Saralyn and Walter.
He was a member of the Prince Hal I Masonic Lodge and served with several other civic and social organizations .
His services went beyong his immediate church and ccmrun i ty.

He leaves to mourn lovely and devoted wi fe , Sara; a daughter, Saralyn Vinson Riley of Ma.con; son, Walter A. Vinson of Atlanta, Georgia; two brother s, Oscar L. Vinson and J. Matthew Vinson both of Necon; sister, Griernette V. Rogers of Passiac, N.J.; grandson, Richard Ri ly, Jr.; son-in-law, Richard Riley, Sr.; daughter-in-law, Phyl iss M. Vinson; three uncles, S.H. Grier of Atlanta, Georgia, Freddie Grier of Macon and Mi I ton Vinson of Linden, N.J.; two aunts, Estel Ia Butler and Roxie Epps of Macon; three nieces, four nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
