Ms. Betty Jean Vaughn was born on July 1, 1950 in Moundville, Alabama. She was the fifth child of Maggie and Will Hall. She entered the gates of Heaven on December 20, 2015 after her valiant fight with cancer.
Betty was extremely kindhearted and nurturing, lending a helping hand to anyone who crossed her path. Betty faithfully cared for family and friends through delicious cooking and baking. She loved good food and socializing with her family and had a wonderful smile and energy that could light up a room. She never met a stranger.
She is survived by her children, Patricia (Ed) Vaughn, Willie Vaughn, Ricky Vaughn, Vicky Vaughn, and Otha Davis; twenty-one loving grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; four sisters, Sylvia Hutchins, Sarah Blocker, Dorothy Heard, and Ruby Flucker; three brothers, Sylvester Hall, Thomas Hall, and Author Hall; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, a!J.d friends.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding,
In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
