Life had its humble beginning for Miss Bornetta Daphine Usher who was born on August 16, 1956 to the late Mr. James E. usher Sr.
and Lola Mae Usher in Atlanta, Georgia. She suddenly departed her life here on Earth for her heavenly home on the evening ofFebruary 23, 2014.
Bornetta acquired her education in the Atlanta Public School system. She graduatedfrom Luther Judson Price High School where she was an outstanding athlete in basketball, softball, and track. "Bonnie" as she was affectionately called by all, who knew her, worked in numerous fields throughout her life. She was most proud of her work in early childhood education at Kittridge Daycare and her supervisory roles in the field of hospitality at Brook Run Hospital, Morehouse College, and the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Bonnie always had a passion for helping others. So she decided to enroll at SanfordBrown College to obtain her degree to become a medical assistant. Bonnie's loving spirit will be eternally missed by all who knew her.
The legacy of a beautiful life will remain a treasure forever in the memories of those who survive. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Edmund Usher and Raheem Usher, tvvo grandchildren, Shainiq Usher and Kah 'Daja Gibbs; a mother, Lola Mae Usher; one brother, James E. Usher Jr., two sisters, Ruby Usher Clay and Yvonne Goodson; one aunt, Alberta Hall; three nephews, Mr. and Mrs. Grady Clay Jr. (Kim), Denard Ingram, and Mr. and Mrs. James E. Usher (Conquela); one niece, Dr. Tameka Goodson; one cousin, Patricia Ivey (Johnny) and a host ofotherfamily members andfriends.
