Ruth Floyd Turner was born to the late Rev. J.O.A. Floyd & Malonna Herring Floyd on May 22, 1920. Three children: Willie C. Turner Jr., Robert Turner and Ruth King-Carter and six step-children: Lula Roney. Adell Bank$, Annie Finley, Ivory Lee Turner, Earnest J. Turner and T.R. Turner aU preceded her in death.

She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church where

she served faithful until death .

In 1944 she married the late Willie C. Turner Sr.. to this union five children were born.

She was dedicated to her family whom she loved ver; much.

On December 23. 2008 she was called home after a short illness at Crown Health Care of Eufaula, Alabama.

She leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters, Daisy (Issac) Thomas & Doris (Clyde) Thomas Sr.; six step-children, Maddie Warren, Pearl Townsend, Mary Sullivan, Willie B. Turner and J.W. Truner; 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughi'cr, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends .
