Bertha, my love almost 45 years ago we pledged our love an d devotion to each other and we have stayed true to our commitment. My love for you is beyond words, knowing that God has united our hearts as one. On April4, 2015 he saw fit to take you home, into his arms however I will forever love you, honor you and cherish all the great memories we shared together. Thank you for your love.
The family of Mrs. Martha Lee Turner is extremely moved by all of the expressions of love and kindness we have received. Your flowers, prayers, poems and comforting messages have been instrumental in easing our pain and enabling us to bear our tremendous loss. Martha Lee Turner also Affectionately known as "Bertha" to many born in Greensboro, Georgia on February 15, 1952. She was the 2nd born to the late Horace Young and Mattie Lee Young.
Dedicating her life to Christ she joined the New Saint John Baptist Church where she served as a devoted and faithful member.
Martha owned and operated a children's daycare for many years caring for the children of family members and friends, loving them as if they were own. She was
also known for her great sense of style and fashion, especially her extensive hat collection.

On April15, 1970, she united in Holy matrimony to Waymon Turner and was a loving and devoted wife for nearly 45 years until God called her home. To this union two children were born; Zandra Turner, Lithonia Georgia, Veronica Turner, Ellenwood Georgia. She was also the proud
As a devoted mother, she set a wonderful example and taught her children about the importance of keeping a spiritual focus.
Mourning her passing but honoring her legacy is her husband, Wayman Turner; two children, Zandra and Veronica Turner; one granddaughter, Zorian Monae Turner. Martha also leaves to cherish her memory: mother, Mattie Lee Young, Atlanta
Georgia; sisters: Shirley 0ohn) Wheeler, Atlanta Georgia; Devaughn (Bobby) Young,
Decatur Georgia; and Jill (Gary) Young, Atlanta Georgia; brothers: Oscar (Margie) Young, Milton Georgia and Terry Oean) Barcus, Augusta Georgia; twelve in-laws and their spouses; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Martha was preceded in death by her father, Horace Young; one brother, Terry Young and two sisters, Betty (Floyd) Sears, and Mary (finch) Mitchell.
