OBITUARY
BROTHER JOHN WESLEY TURNER, 79, of 701 Freeport
Road, Creighton, PA, departed this life on
Wednesday, July 3, 1991, while a patient in the
Citizens General Hospital, New Kensington, PA
He was born on March 20, 1912 in Lovejoy, GA
to the late Joseph and Lucinda Carmickel Turner. BROTHER TURNER served in the United States Army for over twenty _years.
Until his retirement in 1978, he was the Director
of the Housekeeping Department at the Citizens General Hospital where he had been employed for 27 years. BROTHER TURNER was a loyal and faithful member of the Vermont Baptist Church, Creighton, PA. He served as the past president and treasurer of the Usher Board and also served on the Trustee Board. He leaves to mourn their loss: a loving sister, Mrs. Alphronia Mcintyre, Creighton, P.A; a devoted brother , Booker Turner, Sr., Lower Burrell, PA, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. BROTHER TURNER was preceded in death by his
wife, Alberta in 1988.
