Clemoth Anthony Toombs, affectionately called Tony or Papa, was born September 17, 1953, in Chicago, Illinois. Tony was educated in the Chicago Public School System.
The Toombs family moved to Georgia in the winter of 1993. Tony worked for and retired from Dei<.alb County Government Sanitation Department. Since moving to Georgia, Papa enjoyed fishing, swimming, outdoor grilling and watching television. He always commanded the remote control!
In 1969, Clemoth A. Toombs found love. On June 1, 1974 Clemoth A. Toombs married the love of his life, Deborah Freeman and to this union three children were born: Shawn Toombs (deceased 8.1.1990), Toni Gordon and Antoine Toombs; five grandchildren: Clemoth II (Budd), Ashley and Amber Gordon, Nasir and Natan; three (3) siblings: Dennis Toombs, Diane Toombs, Cathy Mister; two nieces, seven nephews, a host of other relatives and friends.
