As the rose that grows in summer sun With fragrance so rich and beauty so fair.
So is the life of the one we love Whose warmth and love a season we share.
The rose must fade at summer 's end, And for the one we love, we need;
But surely life must come again, Like the rose that wake from its winter sleep.
