Connie Hargrove Thrasher was born in Columbus, Georgia to William Wilburn Hargrove, Sr. and Ruth Lee Hargrove. She had one brother, William (Bill) Hargrove, Jr. She graduated from Spencer High School and went on to graduate from Clark College.
She married Norman Thrasher, Sr. where she had two sons: Norman Thrasher, Jr. and Lamar Thrasher. Connie Hargrove taught school for the Atlanta Public Schools for thirty years. Connie Thrasher pledged AI<A Sorority Graduate Chapter.
She leaves to cherish: sons: Norman Thrasher, Jr. and Lamar Thrasher; grandsons: Norman Thrasher III and Jordan Thrasher; granddaughter, I(ennedi Blair Jackson; nephew, Xavier Hargrove; niece, Octavia Hargrove; daughters-in-law, Shalita Foster Thrasher and Debra Thrasher; cousins, Howard Pendleton, Oscar Pendleton; first cousins, Florence H. Pendleton and Nelly I(endall and Norman Thrasher, Sr.
