A Poem for Kayla
"A Good Fight"
I have endured and overcome many obstacles in my life. I wasn't born quite like you
which may have cause my families sacrifices and strife. When people looked at me, they saw my differences, My limited sight, hearing, uncontrolled emotions and physical differences:
But my soul and faith endures and lives on through you. My smile broke barriers, my being created hope and kept my family going through.
I was brought her to fulfill a purpose on this earth. But now the Lord has given me my wings for flight. I came, I saw, I danced, I laughed and I put up a good fight!
