A Time To Be Born -- Ms.
Nancy Carolyn Strong was born January 2, 1942 to the late Jessie Lee and Gaither Strong.
A Time To Seek-- Nancy
graduated from South Fulton High School in 1959. Upon graduation she attended Morris Brown College where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education. While attending Morris Brown she joined the Gamma Gamma Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She was also captain of the cheerleading squad.
A Time To Serve -- "Ms Strong," as she was
lovingly known, began her teaching career in Albany, Georgia at Albany High School. She later accepted a teaching position at Fairburn High School, where she also coached the "Lady Warhawks" basketball team. The dedicated servant retired her teaching and coaching career from Briarwood High School in East Point, Georgia. Nancy was an avid sports fan and a member of the "Bird Watchers," the Atlanta Falcons Fan Club. She was a loving person who took time to listen, care and share her resources. She was faithful to her commitment, to her family and to her friends.
A Time To Accept -- At an early age Nancy
accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savoir. As a child she joined St. John Methodist Church. Later in life she became a member of New Grant Chapel A. M. E. Church.

A Time To Die-- On Monday, October 27,
2003, her soul found everlasting peace and entered the dwelling place of her Heavenly Father.
A Time To Mourn-- Nancy leaves to cherish
her memory: sisters, Mrs. Jo Jean Taylor and Mrs. Valencia White (Marshall); brother, Mr. Robert Strong (Louise); nieces, Farletta Taylor, Asia White and Robin Strong; nephews, Mark Strong and Sandy Strong; aunts, Mrs. Minnie Pritchett and Mrs. Fannie Farley; loving and devoted cousins, Ingrid Reeves, Sallie Clemmons and Alex Smith; a dear friend, Naomia F. White; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
God called you home at the twinkling ofan eye, There was no time to say goodbye. A million times we have cried, I loving you could have saved you You never would have died.
Death is a heartache that no one can heal Memories are something that no one can steal.
Others may forget you are gone, But we will remember, no matter how long.
