~n J\pprcciation
Perhaps you sang a lovely song, Or sat quietly in a chair,
Perhaps you sent beautiful flowers, If so, we saw them there,
Perhaps you sent or spoke kind words, As any friend could say,
Perhaps you were not there at all, Just thought of us that day;
Perhaps you prepared some tasty food, Or maybe furnished a car,
Perhaps you rendered a service unseen, Near at hand or from afar;
Whatever you did to console the heart, We thank you so very much -whatever the part.

"The Joy of Unselfish Giving"
Time is not measured by the years that y ou live But by the deeds that you do and the joy that you give-
And each day as it co1nes, brings a chance to each one To love to 1he fullest, leaving nothing undone That would brighten the life or lighten the load
Of some weary traveler lost on life s road-
So what does it matter how long we 1nay live If as long as we live, we unselfishly give.
