Willie ]eston Stanley, Sr. departed from this life Sunday, January 27, 2008 between 10:30 and 11:00 a.m. at South Fulton Medical Center. Willie was born February 6, 1928 in Fayette County, Georgia to Cedric and Gladys Stanley-Bryant in Fayetteville, Georgia.
Willie sang in a gospel group with four other men. He was an avid hunter and fish for his leisure.
Willie, while in his good heath, was a hard-working man. He loved to laugh and joke a lot and he loved children.
He leaves this beautiful world to mourn his passing and celebrate his life: three children, John W. Stanley, Barbara A. Walker and Jimmy Lee Stanley; two other daughters, Diane Smith and Angela Smith; grandchildren, Keisha Walker, Ferlando Walker, LaAngel Burnett, Deon Stanley and Sanchez Stanley; other mourners, Lerentis Stanley, Jacque Stanley, Cortney Stanley, Marcus Grier, Sabrina Williams and Vera Sabrina Sheats; and a host of great grandchildren and friends.
"I Have Any More Worries"
I am with God now, so don't waste your tears for me. Because God Almighty will take care ofme now. When I was alive, I lived life to the fullest. I made my days as happy as I could, For the enjoyment of life itself So don't grieve for me but be happy for me, For I am now free ofall bad things That could happen to me when I was alive. I worked hard to build a good life
for me and my family. So I can say I've done my part. Now it's their time to make me proud
To have been there for them when I was able to walk on this precious earth that God created.
So now God wants me, so don't grieve for me, just rejoice for my homecoming.
Trust in God and He will also set you free too.
