Was born February 7, 1944 to the union of Andrew and Lillie Spikes. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Andrew and Thomas; son, Willie; daughter, Solatheia; sisters-in-law, Brenda Spikes, Dinnice Talley and two nieces, Veronica and Domingo and one brother-in-law, William Brown.
Willie attended Atlanta Public Schools and graduated from Carver Vocational High School in 1963. He had great knowledge in sports, especially football.
Early in life, he was introduced to Christ and attended Providence Baptist

Church.
Willie worked various jobs and retired from Carrier Carlyle Compressor Division in Stone Mountain, GA.
He departed this life on April17, 2013 at Dekalb Medical Hillandale Hospital.
Willie leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Charlene; stepson, Alfred; stepdaughter, Davia (Cookie); step-grandson, Ja'Kari; three daughters, Shonda, Quanta (Mookie), Grecia (Bookie) (Bruce); two sons, Willie, Jr., (Bellum) and Willie, Ill (Tank); five sisters, Willie Mae (Marcella), Diane, Vevelyn, (Larry), Linda, Helen (Joel); two brothers, Willie Lee, Reginald (Duck); dear friends, Gee, Flora; god-son, Edward; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of family and
friends .
