Alicia Atkinson (2nd daughter)

Minti Lee Adams Solomon was born April 13, 1951 to the late John Quincy Adams and Tennie Cleonia (Holloway) Adams in Memphis, Tennessee. She was the fifth of seven children and was called "skinny" as a child and affectionately called "peewee" by her father. Though she was considered small, she was always a fighter and fought a good fight until the Lord called her home on March 7, 2013.
She accepted Christ at an early age and attended Holy Temple Church of God in Christ where she remained a remember until she relocated to Atlanta. She attended the Patricia Stevens Modeling School where she majored in decorating and design. She continued her education further by taking accounting classes, which led her to landing a job at Sears and Roebuck and SunTrust Bank, where she retired from.
Mintie met and married Anthony Davis and with this union came a beautiful daughter, Shechia A. Davis. Mintie was creative and made unique gifts for those she loved. She always remembered others and would never forget a birthday or special occasion in which presented the memorable one-of-a-kind creation.
The memories of her life are cherished by her dearest friend, Anthony Davis; daughter Shechia Davis; stepson Rodney Solomon, Jr.; sisters Louise Adams-Short Oames) and Terry Adams; five grandchildren Deshod R. Amos, Maya J. Perryman, Tynelius S. Hall, Jr., Nikah L. and Jada J. Maston; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and a host of family and friends who will greatly miss her!

Notice of Address Change
Dear Family & Friends:
Please be advised that I have moved... I received a call from God, and he informed me that my new home was complete. I knew that my mansion needed some finishing touches and that ] esus Christ had to inspect it and give me the final approval.
On March 7, 2013, he let me know that my mansion was complete and that I could move in. So, he told me to go ahead and change my address. Well, my new home is finished and what a sight to behold. It is located in an exclusive estate area behind a beautiful pearly gate.
Of course, you know the streets are paved with gold and everyday is Sunday, just like you have been told. Trees of fruit grace my garden here and I can walk and talk with my Master with not a worry or a care. There is peace here along with joy, happiness, and no pain or headache, no strife or discomfort, only sweet serenity. I can dine at the Master's bountiful table and listen to a heavenly choir. And best of all, my Heavenly Father is here in all His glory; and oh yes, I have my own designer here who has fitted me with my very own white robe and my very own wings. I could go on and on about my new home, but instead I am going to pray that you get to move here yourself one day, but before I go though, let me give you my new address:
Mintie Lee Adams Solomon 221 Heavenly Circle
Godstown, Heaven 35601
P.S. I don't have a telephone, but you can always call on God. If you don't know his number, read your Bible, it's listed on every page!
