At an early age, Mrs. Estella Smith joined Turner Monumental A.M.E. Church, and for over 50 years she served as pianist for Turner and other Churches. For many years she played for the John Harland's Boys Club. She also shared her musical skill with the many students she taught over the years.
Then illness befell her, after her surgery she returned to her labor love, and served until she could no longer walk. Mrs. Smith was a faithful, useful pianist and member until her death on September 14, 1985.
