Obituary On June 29, 2002, Mr. Willie Morris Smarr sought the hand of the Lord and followed him home to rest. Willie Morris was born in Jackson, Georgia on December 10, 1915 to the late Mr. & Mrs. Henry & Clara Smarr.
He was educated in Georgia and completed his studies at Booker T. Washington High School in Atlanta, Georgia. He accepted Christ Jesus at an early age. He joined the Greater Mt. Calvary Baptist Church when it was under the leadership of Rev. B. J. Johnson, Sr.. He was an usher and faithful member until his health failed him. He was united in holy matrimony to the late Mrs. Essie Mae Smarr.

Loving memories of Willie Morris Smarr are held by one daughter, Andra Smarr Gray, six sons, William (Dollie) Smarr, Herman Smarr, Nathan (Irene) Smarr, Larry (Sandra) Smarr, Ronald (Jackie) Smarr, .& Alton Smarr, two sister in laws, Bessie Stephens & Agnes Smarr, over 25 grandchildren, over 30 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Fallen Limb A Limb has fallen from the family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says " Grieve not for me". Remember the best times, the laughter, the songs, The good life I lived while I was strong. Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you. Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through.
My mind is at ease, my soul at rest, Remembering all how I was truly blessed. Continue traditions, no n1atter how small, Go on with your life, don't just stare at the wall. I'll miss you dearly, so keep up your chins, Until the day comes when we're together again.
