Obituary
Thine, 0 Lord, is the greatness. and the power, and the glory, and the vict01y, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom , 0 Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all.
Mrs. Arlener Gallimore Baker Sinclair, daughter of the late Mally Gallimore was born on December 25, 1897 in Wilkinson County, GA. She departed this walk of life on Friday, December 28, 2001, at the Medical Center of Central Georgia.
She received her education in Wilkinson County Church Schools and at an early age, accepted the teachings of Jesus Christ. Thereafter, Arlener moved to Macon and became a lifetime member of St. Paul A.M.E . Church. During her membership there, her service included the Missionary Society, Sunday School Department and Stewardess Board No. 2, until her health began to decline.
Arlener attributed her longevity to "living right" and maintaining a great devotion to her faith, family and friends. She will forever be regarded and loved by her grandchildren as a kind, loving and wise teacher in "living right".
She was the widow of the late Leonard Baker and Burdell Sinclair.
She leaves to cherish her memory and mourn her loss: seven grandchildren, Cheryl Morris, Bennie Baker, J r., Patricia Baker, all of Macon and Mildred Baker, Gary Baker, Jimmie Baker, Allegra Henderson, all of Athens; step-grandchild, Jessie Gordon of Macon; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
