Mr. Isaac Tyrone Silntnons, II of Atlanta, GA entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 10, 2009. Mr. Sitrunons was born on August 9, 1946 in Birmingham, ALto the late Isaac, and Nettie Silllinons. He completed his elementary and secondary education in the Birminghatn School System. He later received a B.S. degree in Mathematics from Knoxville College in Knoxville, TN and a Masters Degree in Mathematics from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He continued his education at Georgia Institute of Technology, studying in the field of Computer Science. He retired from the City of Atlanta as a Manager of Systems and Programs and later becatne a college professor at Georgia Military College, teaching Math and Computer Technology.
He was a member of Ben Hill United Methodist Church, formerly participating as a tnetnber of the Male Chorus, Sanctuary Choir, and Finance Committee. He was a former member of the Toasttnasters Club and is a metnber Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 36 years, Jamesena Hall Simmons, loving daughter Shante' Ikena Simmons, devoted sister Marie Silllinons Floyd (Bernard); devoted brothers-in-law George Hall (Shirley), Frederick Hall, Tollliny Hall, and Mikail Rahman; sister-in-law Deborah Mitchell (Herman); a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
