The family of Dana Sheppard wishes to express our sincere thanks for the prayers, support, and other expressions of love during
our time of bereavement.
Dana Leigh Sheppard was born January 22, 1975 to Albert and Margie Sheppard in Atlanta, GA. She is survived by three sisters, Alethea, Kiya, and Shurran, and two brothers, Damon and Robert. She leaves two children, Amati and Azra.
Growing up, Dana was quite inquisitive, somewhat of a tomboy, and had a great sense of humor. Dana had a knack for working with kids, cooking, creating art, and taught many kids to swim.
At Decatur High School, she was a star basketball player, class clown, good student, and received the Art Award. After high school, she attended Georgia State University where she received a BS in Chemistry.
Dana we will miss your fun spirit and sense of humor. Forever you are in our hearts.
