~ - 8Je<W!l~a c;?Ga/}(k~ was born June 18, 1920 to the proud

parents of Mr. and Mrs. Lee and Georgian Hadley in Hamilton, Georgia.

She departed this life May 14, 2006.

She was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. William Scarbrough, Sr. To this union one child, William Scarbrough, Jr. was born. They both preceded her in death.

She was a very delightful person who found joy in teaching piano lessons to countless students. She was a nurse for many years and volunteered with the Red Cross. She joined Turner Monumental A.M.E. Church and worked faithfully until her health failed her. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by daughter-in-law, Vernell Scarbrough of Atlanta; one brother, Mr. C.P. Scarbrough of Philadelphia, PA; one sister-inlaw, Mrs. Mabel Bailey of Durham , Connecticut; one grandson, William Brown and a host of nieces, nephews and fellow members of Turner Monumental AME Church.
