My heart is broken, my heart is empty, my heart is hurting but by the grace of God it's still
beating for I have cast all my cares upon him for he careth for me (1 Peter 5:7).
Mr. Danny Brown said I will never get over this but I will get through it. So please, please keep
my family in your prayers.
I will always love you Sis.
Valerie V. Russell was born on February 13, 1964 in Atlanta, GA to the parents of Aaron Bentley and the late Holly Ann Bentley. Valerie leaves to mourn two children: Yashica Cannon and Sahib Russell; one grandson: Joshua Callahan; one godson: KJ; five brothers: Carlos Bentley, Erik Owens, Aaron Bentley (1), Aaron Bentley (2), and Aaron Bentley (3); two sisters: Brittany Bentley and Nikki Bentley; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts, family and friends....and one dog cookie.
Valerie received and began her journey with the Lord in 1986. After many years of service she answered the call ot the Lord to ministry as a prophet. She served as church administrator and vice president of Women on the Wall Prophetic Ministry. She also served closely along side her Apostle, Dephonie Brown, and was faithful until the end. Her favorite scriptures were:
Isaiah 45:8 You heavens above, rain down my righteousness; let the clouds shower it down. Let the earth open wide, let salvation spring up, let righteousness flourish with it; I, the Lord, have created it. (NIV}
Song of Solomon 3:4/t was but a little that I passed from them, but I found him whom my soulloveth: I held him, and would not let him go, until/ had brought him into my mother's house, and into the chamber of her that conceived me. (KJV)
Valerie started her own business after the Lord spoke to her to take care of the "little ones". In doing so she opened Big Ma's Hope for the Future Daycare. Valerie was a very loving mother, aunt, cousin, sister, and friend. She had a deep passion and desire in the Lord and to see souls saved and delivered. She had an undeniable love and compassion for the youth and a smile that would brighten your day and a laughter that would lift your spirit.
Though she is gone th~ word of the Lord still speaks in the heart of the people she touched. Whether through a hug, laughter, phone call or prayer. We will miss her...gone but not forgotten.
