"To Those I Loved, and to Those Who Loved Me" When I am gone,
release me, let me go, I have so many things to see and do. You mustn't tie yourself to me with tears, be happy we had so many years. I give you my love.
You only guess how much you gave to me in happiness. I thank you for the love, you have shown me, but now it's time to travel alone. So grieve for me a while, if grieve you must. Then let your griefbe comforted by trust.
It's only for awhile that we must part, so bless the memories within your heart.
And when you must come this way along, I'll greet you with a smile and say, "Welcome Home." Author Anonymous

06ituary
Wi{{iam CJWwe was born on December 19, 1927 in Heard County Georgia. He departed this life
on January 28, 2014. He was an only child, and was preceded in death by his parents. His loving mother Mattie Brown Porter, always stressed the importance of being kind to others. Because of her influence upon his life, his motto became "Have a good personality".
As a child, he attended a 2-room school in Corinth Public Schools and was an active member of Wadley Chapel United Methodist Church in Corinth, Georgia. William joined Westside Community CME Church as a young adult. As an adult William became a proud member of Ben Hill United Methodist Church for over twenty-two years. He sang with the male chorus where he served as Chaplain. William was an active member of the Jewels & Partners Ministry.
He was truly a gentle giant, standing 6 feet 2 inches. He always sported a beautiful smile, and loved to "tinker". He always made good on his promise to "fix" things around the house for his lovely wife, Lillian.
William was united in holy matrimony to Lillian on August 15, 1986. They shared a beautiful life together with their dog, Rocky.
William is preceded in death by his daughter Wilma Jane Jones. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of 28 years, Lillian Rowe, son Larry Rowe, and daughter's Essie Smith and Sonya Long, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and many cousins and friends.
