ROSA LATINffiR ROSE Died November 26, 1972 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma
She was born in South Carolina, reared in South Carolina and Georgia. She was educated in Atlanta at Spelman College and Atlanta University. She taught school in a number of states, finally completing her long career as a teacher in the public school system of Atlanta. She had a sincere and abiding interest in children and her life was one of service.
I Heard the Voice of Jesus Say l heard the voice of Jesus Say,
"Come unto Me and rest; Lay down, thou weary one, lay down
Thy head upon My breast." I came to Jesus as I was,
Weary, and worn, and sad; I found in Him a resting place,
And He has made me glad.
