The Obituary

After a short illness, God called His child home on friday, February 23, 2001. Theodore 0. Roanans was born .Allgust 13, 1938 in Philadelphia, PPnnsylvania. He WdS the 3rd born to the late Ra~1mond and Crean Romans.
He was p1 e~~ded in death by his sisters, Gwendolyn and Anna and brother,
Raymond.

Theodore accepted Chrjst at a young age at St. Paul's Baptist Church where he was bapdz~d.
He receiv~d nis education in the Philadelphia public schools where he received his diploma i!1 academics.

H~; enlisted ir. ..he United States Armed Forces where he was honorably discharged.

He llter met ar.d married Lorraine: and tllis ur.ior. of 40 y~rs was ble sPct

with two S(}ns, Theodore, Jr. (Teddy) who precedPd him ill death and

Kevin.



He was el!lployed by the City of Philadelphia Prison System as a ' Corr~ct!onal Office.- for 30 years 11ntil his redrement in August 1993.

1 heo.lore v:as a loving, devoted and hardworking husband and father. He was a qi.llet man and kept to himself.

He ledves to cherish his memories: his wife, Lorraine; or.e son, Kevin; one shter, Delilah; oile grandson, Kevin, Jr.; two ~isters-in-law, Judy and Rit~; two broth~rs-inlaw, Ludlis and Leonard; one daughter-in-law, Wendy; one aunt, s~ven nephews, one niece, and a host of c.ousins, great niece~ and nephew:;, and friends.
