MRS. WILLIE IRENE ROBINSON was bo rn June 30, 1934 to the late Mr. and Mrs. James Horace Blair.
She confessed Christ at an early age and united w ith the Ebenezer Bapti st Church under the leadership of Reverend I. J. Johnson.
She wa s ma rried to the late Robert Dickerson and from t his union a daughter, Benda Joyce was born. She later married the late Eddie Robinson and moved to Au rora, Illinois. Her chu rch membership w as then moved to Main Street Baptist Chu rch under the leadership of Reve rend Bezo McGill.
After retiring , Irene moved back home to Birmingham, Alabama. She then joined Mt. Mariah Baptist Church under the leadership of Pa stor Da rryl Lee .
Irene went to rest in the arm s of her Father, Monday, 2015 at 9:01 a.m.
She leaves to mourn her passing: her daughter, Brenda Bowman ; three grandsons, Michael (Karla) Bowman of Mesa , Arizona , Terence Bowman of Aurora, Illino is and Sean Bowman of Waterloo, Iowa; two sisters , Jewel Datche r of Bi rmingham, Al abama and Jannie Lawson of Austell , Georgia; brother, (Doshia) Blair of Sumter, South Carolina; seven grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren , a host of nie nephews, other relatives and f riends.
Iam home in heaven, dea rones; Oh, so happy and so bright!
There is perfect joy and beauty In this everlasting light.
All the pain andgriefis over, Every restless tossing passed; Iam now at peaceforever, Safely home in heaven at last.
