You are not forgotten, Nor will you ever be. As long as life and memory last, We will remember thee.
We miss you now, Our hearts are sore.
As time goes by, We'll miss you more.
Your loving smile, Your gentle face. No one can fill, Your vacant place.

Obituary
MARIE HARGROVE ROBINSON was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 22, 1927 to the union of the late Jesse and Elizabeth Hargrove.
Converted at an early age, she was baptized and joined the Calvary Baptist Church, pastored by the late Reverend R.B. Dixon.
She received her formal education at the Edward A. Jenner Elementary and Robert A. Waller High Schools.
Marie was united in matrimony to the late Mr. Craymon Robinson. This union was blessed with a son, Kenneth.
In 1979, she joined the Gospel Temple Missionary Baptist Church under the pastorage of the late Reverend Warren A. Turner. With a melodious voice, she joined the Gospel Chorus where she served as Vice-President.
As an employee of the J.C. Seeburg Corp., she served as a Steward until the company dissolved. Upon retirement, she became an active member of the Sewing Class of Seward Park Seniors. Like her late sister Louise Dixon, she found time to prepare delicious and healthy meals for the Seniors of LaSalle Street Church.
Despite her frequent bouts with illness and stays in the hospital, Marie kept up with her church activities.
She was called from labor to reward on Thursday, August 16, 1996 at approximately 4:45 P.M.
She leaves to mourn her Homegoing: son, Kenneth; two grandsons; one granddaughter; one nephew, Chas A. Dixon; two nieces, Gloria Gillespie and Marlene Dixon
of Sumerlin, Las Vegas; a niece, Autumn Jefferies of Bloomington, Minnesota; one aunt, Mrs. Willa Kae Kelso; and a host of other relatives and friends.
