qodSaw...
God saw the road was getting rough,
The hills were hard to climb;
He gently closed those eyes,
And whispered, "Peace Be Thine".
The weary hours, the days ofpain,
The sleepless nights all passed;
The ever patient worn outframe has
Found sweet rest at last.
God saw that he was getting tired, And a cure was not to be,
So He put His arms around him, And whispered, "Come With Me." With tearful eyes we watched him suffer,
And saw him fade away, Although we loved you dearly,
We could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, And a determined spirit was at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.
