JLinba 3fean l\itbatb~on was born in Shiloh, Georgia on
September 26, 1952 to the parents of the Reverend Eddie L. Mahone of Woodbury, Georgia and Mrs. Fannie Mae Mahone of Union City, Georgia. She was the eldest daughter of her four siblings, where one preceded her in death.
Linda received her early childhood training in Harris County and Talbot County School System. She completed her high school education from Booker T. Washington High School, graduating with honors.
While her work experiences were many, Linda worked in the Insurance industry for over twenty-five years. She worked with Continental Insurance Company for twenty years and was recently employed with Auto-Owners Insurance Company as an Underwriter Specialist.
Linda's zeal and love for the Lord and her family was truly evident to all who knew her. She became a devoted member of Central United Methodist Church in the early 1970's where her service to God took root and flourished. Linda faithfully served in numerous ministry areas, such as the Young Adults, Health and Welfare, Council on Ministries, Staff and Pastor Relations, Women's Choir and Worship, just to name a few. For all who knew Linda, she was greatly respected and appreciated for her attention to details and her enthusiastic spirit for doing everything "just right"- a quality she has passed on to her daughters.

Linda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who put the needs of her family before her own. She was always there to congratulate in the accomplishments of her family and friends and to give encouragement whenever needed.
As a young woman, she married Renard Richardson and both were blessed with two lovely daughters, Tangela Demetrius and Aquaria Lajuania.
Linda Jean Richardson departed this life on September 2, 2001.
Linda's vivacity will long endure. Her smile, her words, her organizational adeptness, her meticulous ways and her perseverance, remains with those she leaves behind: a caring husband and friend, Renard; two daughters, Tangela Richardson of Randallstown, Maryland; Aquaria Richardson-Smith (Marshall); goddaughter, Ms. Mignon Kittler; three grandchildren, Kai Brittany, Marshall Renard and Hunter Reine; her parents, the Reverend Eddie L. Mahone of Woodbury, Georgia and Ms. Fannie Mae Mahone of Union City, Georgia; one brother and one sister, the Reverend Carlton Mahone, Sr. of Fitzgerald, Georgia and Ms. Marinda Harris of Union City, Georgia; her father in law, Carl Mason of Atlanta; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and devoted friends.

Linda
In the midst of your grief, you probably feel, Your lives couldn't possibly be any tougher.
I know how much you all love Linda, It would've been even more painful, To continue daily watching her suffer.
This is the second time in a month, A loved one has gone on to eternity. I can imagine Big Mama saying to Jesus, "Since there's no suffering here in heaven, please let my granddaughter join me."
Certainly, you're going to miss her terribly, Years from now, you'll still cry.
But if you believe in guardian angels, You must realize when you need her most,
Her spirit will be hovering dose by.
Physically, she was a strikingly beautiful woman, But many other fine qualities she also possessed. She was loving, strong, independent, and compassionate.
Those of you whose lives she touched, Should definitely consider yourselves blessed.
Her journey down life's highway was too brief, Which makes it even harder to let go. Trust that God never makes a mistake, He, like you, loves her so.
Delois Mahone September 5, 2001
