"When I Must Leave You"
When I must leave you for a little whilePlease go on bravely with a gallant smile
Andfor my sake and in my name Live on and do all things the same. Spend not your life in empty days, But fill each waking hour in useful ways, Reach out your hand in comfort and in cheer And I in turn will comfort you and hold you near;

Perhaps you sent a lovely card, or sat quietly in a chair. Perhaps you sent a funeral spray, if so we saw it there. Perhaps you spoke the kindest words that any friend could say. Whatever you did to console our hearts, we thank you so much whatever the part. Your thoughts will always be remembered.

Master McKinley Armani Raphel Reid was born on June 24, 1992 in Forest Park, Georgia to Mr. Horace Raphel Reid and Mrs. Johnnie M. Reid.
McKinley was christened at Turner Monumental A.M.E. Church by Reverend S. W. Wicker. He later joined the Fountain of Life Christian Church with his parents under the leadership of The Reverend Hosea Clay.
McKinley attended the South Metro Psychoeducational Program (Pre-K) in Union City, Georgia, received speech therapy at Atlanta Metro Speech in Tucker, Georgia, was involved with Lekotek of Georgia and was loved by all that knew him.
Everyone called him "Mac" and for some reason that name seemed to fit him well. His mom and dad called him their "big boy" because he was being such a good big brother to Malik. His big brother Derrick was never amazed at what Mac could do. He was a very quick moving and determined child. If he wanted something that his parents did not want him to have- if you knew Mac- you knew that he would get what he wanted nine times out of ten.
On March 22 , 1997, he was ca lled home to a perfect place for a perfect boy. He leaves wonderful memories and was mu c h loved by his adoring parents : Mr. Horace R. Re id and Mrs. Johnnie M. Reid , Riverdale, Georgia; two brothers, Derrick Odell McKinley and baby brothe r, Malik Khal il Robert Reid of Riverdale, Georgia; two godfathers, Mr. Carl V. Johnson , College Park , Georgia and Mr. Geams (O .C.) Houskin, Memphis, Tennessee; three godmothers, Mrs. Corine Houskin , Memphis , Tennessee, Mrs. Luz M. Oquendo and Mrs. Luz T. Moore, Decatur, Georgia; grandparents, Mr. William Walls and Mrs. Mildred Walls, Decatur, Georgia, and Mrs. Thelma McKinley, Chicago, Illinois; one great-grandfather, Mr. Elijah Reid, Atlanta, Georgia; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, godbrothers, godsisters, other relatives, classmates and friends.
