Mrs. Mattie Jo Parker Reid was born March 31, 1929 in Do ugl as County, Georgia to the late Mr. Doy Lee Parker and Blossie Mae Parker.
She joined t he church at an early age. She was blessed in holy matrimony to Mr. Standy Reid on Au gust 2, 1947 .
She later joined The New Grant Chapel A.M .E. Church where she was a faithful member until death.
Mrs. Reid departed this life Ma rch 7, 1992 and leaves to cherish her loving memory, husband, Mr. Standy Reid; sisters, Equilla Stephens, Douglasville, Georgia, Janie Woods, Decatur, Georgia, Mercedes Jones, Douglasville, Georgia, Jacqulyn Sherrod, Freemont, North Carolina, and Shelia A.
