You were there for so long I never thought you would leave

I thought you had another year Waiting up your sleeve The day that you left was the saddest of1ny life I remen1ber sitting at home crying all day and night I might be selfish, But I wish you were still here Or ifyou stayed for just one 1nore year I know that you loved me and I still love you too So I am trying to be strong all just for you I know I an1 not perfect I know I'll never be I just hope you're up there and that you're proud of1ne You had to let go even though you tried to hold on
s But there not a day I don't think ofyou
And how you were so strong you never said I'm leaving You never said goodbye you were gone before we knew it And only God knows why I just want to tell you .That you're always in my heart even though I still cry I know we're not apart

God saw you getting tired And a cure was not to be So he put his anns around you And whispered Co1ne to Me With tearful eyes we watch you And saw you pass away And although we loved you dearly We could not make you stay A Golden heart stopped beating Hard working hands at rest God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best Love you always and forever "Peanuts"
