OBITUARY
Mr. William Garfield Randall, also known as "Billy" was born on October 10, 1944 in Macon, Georgia as the youngest of six children born to -the late Mr. Leroy Dumas Randall and the late Lillian Evelyn Battle-Randall. He departed this life on Sunday, February 23, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ms. Carolyn Elizabeth Randall-Lowe; brother, Mr. Alvin Leon Randall; and brother, Robert Leroy Randall.
Billy confessed his love and hope in Christ during the early years of his life as a member of Lizzie Chapel Baptist Church in Macon, Georgia. In Atlanta, he continued his due diligence unto God as an active official for several churches: Saint Paul of the Cross Catholic Church, Ben Hill UMC, Dodd Sterling UMC, Capital View UMC, and Union City UMC. Primary Roles include: Superintendent, Choir Member, Sunday school teacher, Board Member, Trustee, and Treasure.
Billy attended Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. His career pursuits include; Southern Airlines, the United Parcel Service, New Leaf Limited (his own business), and Fulton County Public School Transportation where he retired from in 2012. He continued his faithfulness unto the Lord not only in service but in tithe and offering. He was a diligent contributor of several organizations to include but not limited to; the Wounded Veterans, the Indian Society, Alzheimer Research and the Cancer Society.
Billy embodied and overwhelming loving personality and spread his charm and warm spirit everywhere he went. He was able to light any room with his smile and humorous demeanor. He was a Christian man who enjoyed traveling, cooking, and spending time with his family. He was joined in holy matrimony twice and had two daughters with his first wife Lillian EmoryRandall-Wilson.
Billy leaves to cherish precious memories his two daughters, Ms. Stephanie Randall and Chandra Randall-Vaughn, granddaughters; son-n-law, Fred Vaughn; Ashle' Vaughn & Jazmin Vaughn; grandson, Mario Vaughn; great grandson, Kriston Vaughn; brother, Glen & Carolyn Randall and children: Sharon, Shaun and Sherrie; sister, Barbara Ann & Carl Clark and children: Angela and Bobby; sister-n-law, Pearl Randall; nieces and nephews: Ray, Alvin Jr., Aubrey, and Orlando as well as many other dear family and friends.
