Sonja Maria Randall, the youngest child of Alvin Leon and Pearl Bernice Randall was born . December 24, 1958. She attended the Bibb County Public Schools. (M. M. Burdell, Alexander III and Northeast High Schools) She received the Bachelor of Science Degree in Mass Communication and Masters of Journalism in 1979 from the University of Georgia. Sonja is remembered as being a combination of all her sisters and brothers' goals and ambitions. She joined the Lizzie Chapel Baptist Church and fulfilling her motherly mission and desire, she dedicated her son, Xavier RaShaunte in this church. Her Sunday School participation on the Young People's Class will be a lasting example for this church. She left her earthly home on Saturday, September 13, 1986.
Sonja will be remembered by her son, Xavier RaShaunte Randall, Macon; parents, Mr. & Mrs. Alvin Leon Randall, Sr., Macon; three brothers, Robert Orlando and Alvin Leon Randall, Jr., Macon, Aubrey Lynn Randall of Kingsland, Ga.; two sisters, Miss Sherdena Ray Randall, Macon, and Mrs. Beverly R. Harris of Augusta, Georgia; a devoted friend, Mr. Acie Wilmore, Macon: grandmot hers, Mrs. Rosa Tillman, Gray, Mrs. Julia S. Randall, Macon, and Mrs. Lucille B.
