Consuella Kenyatta Sims-Porter was born June 7, 1987 in Newton County, Georgia to Dexter Sims and Debra Rogers. She departed this earthly life on September 11, 2015.
Consuella graduated from Eastside High School in Covington, Georgia. She was married to Jonathan Porter. They were the proud parents of two daughters, Kerianna and Zyasia.
Consuella was a member of Bethel Tabernacle United Churches of God in Christ (UCOG/C), under the leadership of Bishop Ronnie and Mother Ingrid Richardson.
Consuella overcame many hurdles in her life by not giving up, trusting and keeping her faith in God. Many knew her by her humble spirit and big smile. She was a loving mother and wife who truly loved her family. She would lend a helping hand to anyone. Family gatherings were very special to h ~r.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Charles Grier, Betty Sims (Johnny) Glover and Arthur Preston. A sister-in-law: Mchelida Porter, also preceded her in death.
Consuella leaves to cherish her sweet memories, her loving husband: Jonathon Porter; her daughters: Kerianna Porter and Zyasia Sims; her caring father: Dexter (Linda) Sims; her devoted mother: Debra (Darrian) Rogers; three sisters: Jalisha Sims, April Brooks and Lashawn Brooks; two brothers: Dexter Sims, Jr. and Jamarcus Sims; grandmother: Myrtis Hill; aunts: Sharon Durden, Gwendolyn Belcher, Vicki Sims, Shelia (Jerry) Grier, Katrina Hardwick, Terrie Nolley, Betty (Lamar) Harris, Patricia (Larry) Smith, Susie (Ray) Smith, Agnes Scott, Patricia Blue and Delores (Robert) Lee; uncles: Lindsey (Angela) Belcher, Dagger Grier, Terry Grier, Randy Nolley, Grady (Avis) Smith, Oscar (Aldreal) Cobbs and Martin Tye; nephews: Damon Sims, Demonte ' Sims, Damir Sims and Justyn Greene. She is also survived by a mother-in-law: Christine Porter; sister-in-law: Deveda (Devotius) Gibbs; special cousin: Jennifer (James) Rhodes; special friend: Shanita Woods; Godparents: Richard (Elizabeth) Brown and Doris Anderson; 6 great aunts; 3 great uncles; Bethel Tabernacle Church Family; and a host of other relatives and friends.
