Flower Bearers Round 0 Deaconess Missionaries: Mr. Zion and Round 0 Baptist Churches
Final Thoughts
I have fmished now with this house of clay, Please Kindly and gently lay it away And let me rest from this life of pain; Toiling in sunshine, storm and rain, Trying to keep the sick and poor And turning no needy from my door. I strove to do my Master's work Never a duty did I shirk; Many times I was misunderstood When I have done the best I could. I am tired now, so let me rest.
Don't cry, don't you know, God knows best? Please, no sad hearts, no hung down heads Don't weep for me for I am not dead. I have another house you know, Where only God' s redeemed can go, I do not need this house of clay, So tenderly, carefully, lay it away.
Acknowledgments
Words are inadequate to express the humbleness and gratefulness we feel towards all of our friends, who have consoled us during our bereavement. Your prayers and all acts of kindness shown to us are appreciated and will always be remembered. We looked upon theses as God' s love expressed through you. Whatever you did to console our hearts, we thank you so very much. May God bless each of you.

Reverend A rflc mtt:n,
"I am whole once again. Reborn, new body, young, ten fingers, no pain, 20120 vision, new head ofhair and more. I am sing~ng the praises I sang on earth to Jesus in person now. I am catching up with all my family who went before me and I will be there to greet, with a smile those who come after me. "
Reverend Jordan Poole, known as "J. P.", was born November 12, 1930 in Darlington, South Carolina to the late Fred and Irene Samuel Poole. He was the second oldest of six siblings and married to the former Ms. Mary M. Coe for 54 years. Their union was blessed with six children, Jordan, Carolyn, Eric, Timothy, Michael and Joseph.
Early in their marriage, the couple relocated to Philadelphia, PA. They became members of Robinson Chapel Baptist, the late Reverend I.L. Robinson, pastor. On the 3rd Sunday in October of 1959 Jordan gave his life over to Christ.
In 1963, Jordan moved his family to New Jersey where he started his own Contracting/Landscaping Business. "J. P." was a talented, hardworking Contractor/ Landscaper. You can see his work all throughout South Jersey, Philadelphia, PA and South Carolina.
Ten years later in 1973, Jordan was called into God' s service to preach. Jordan served as Associate Minister at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Atco, NJ, Rev. Lee DeRamus, Pastor.
In 1986, Jordan and Mary along with the youngest son, Joseph, moved back home to Darlington, South Carolina. They attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church where he served as Associate Minister. Jordan later with his Pastor' s approval and in the Spirit of True Christianity
lent his services to Round 0 Baptist Church. Jordan also became very active in the Darlington County Prison Ministry. He was actively serving the Lord and his community until he became ill. Jordan went home to the Lord with a smile on Wednesday, February 13, 2008. Last scripture reading was in the book of Jeremiah. The last thing Jordan was doing at the time of his untimely death, he was receiving a Valentine's Card from his granddaughter Brianna.
Jordan leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife, Mrs. Mary M. Poole of the home; six children, Rev. Jordan (Jenny) Poole, Jr. of Huntsville, AL, Miss Carolyn Poole of Galloway, NJ, Eric Poole of Williamstown, NJ, Timothy (Hazel) Poole of Darlington, Rev. Michael (Karla) Poole of Berlin, NJ and Rev. Joseph L. (Priscilla) Poole of Willingboro, NJ; one sister, Mrs. Catherine (Clifford) Smith of Columbia; fifteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; a special daughter, Denise Jacobs of NJ; one aunt, Mrs. Maggie Hicks; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a multitude of friends. He will surely be missed and remembered.
"If my people, which are called by my name, shall
humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their
land."
