Deacon Leroy Pittman was born on
May 20, 1918 to the 7ate Deacon and
Mrs. Claude Pittman. He departed Rev. Hopie Strickland this life on Monday, December 17,

At an early age, he joined the Mt. Olive Baptist Church where he served faithfully on the Deacon Board until his health fai7ed. He was quiet and humble and loved by
all that knew him.

He leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife, Mrs. Lu7a Pittman; nine (9) children, Mr. & Mrs. Charlie Pittman, Mr. & Mrs. Willie James Pittman, Mrs. Alice Pye, Mr. & Mrs. Randa 11 Ponder (Eula),Mr. & Mrs. Lorenzo Pittman, Mr. & Mrs. Homer (Walter) Pittman, Mr. & Mrs. Frank Williams (Dot), Mr. Robert Pittman, and Mr. & Mrs. Randolph Pittman. He also leaves t wenty- four (24) grandchildren; five (5) great grandchildren; five ( 5) sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Lemon, Mr.&Mrs. Joseph Thrash (Norrine), Mr. & Mrs. Andrew Lemon (Doris), Mr. & Mrs. Willie Thrash (Annie Bell), and Mr. & Mrs. Pink Hunt (C7 audia); three (3) brothers,Rev.
