Sandra Gail Pickens "Sandra" was born on September 17, 1959 to Magnolia Agee and Robert Thornton in Toxey, Alabama. God called her home on December 22, 2012.
Sandra possessed a very warm, concerned, loving and caring spirit; she remembered all and forgot none.
She leaves to cherish her memory: two daughters, Tijuwana Pickens and Tanjer Pickens; mother and stepfather, Magnolia and Herman Craft; sisters, Yanda, Elaine, Karen, and Teasa; brothers, Curtis (Balita), Edward (Betty), Orlando, and Greg; brother-in-law, Arthur, Jr.; eleven grandchildren, Rontress, Quontavious, Torious, Darryl, Sunique, Cassie, Jameasha, Diamond, Desmond, Keon, and Felicia; five great grandchildren, Quontavious, Jr., Kayland, Makayla, Dynasty, and Denishia; close friends, Bobby Long, Carmen Armstrong, Brenda Cox, Joe Starr, Kay Coleman, Yuka, and Martin; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Faith
Faith is holding on to life when all around is plain Faith is seeing rainbows, when the sky is full ofrain, Faith is reaching out to God when you are filled with fear Faith is taking someone's hand and feeling God is near Faith is walking in the dark and looking for the light Faith is knowing God is love, and trusting in His might. Faith is showing you believe, and that you truly care, Faith is searching for the Lord and finding Him in prayer.
