-Obituary-
On Monday evening, God paid a visitation to Arbor Hospice where He had an appointment with Nicole Diane Beatrice Philpot. In the late evening of June 2, 2014 He completed the transaction which began in eternity past and He claimed Nicole for Himself.
Nicole was born September 7, 1960 in Flint, Michigan; she departed this life on June 2, 2014, she was 53 years old. At the age of seven years old, she met Ms. Linnie Philpot and the two struck it off imme-diately. For forty--six years Ms. Linnie was the only mother Nicole knew until her transition
Nicole was a product of the Ann Arbor Pubic School system. She attended Mack Elementary School, Forsythe Middle School and Pioneer High School. While as a student she loved to participate in sports.
Nicole may have been small in stature, but she had a big, strong, beautiful voice. She loved to sing hymns of the church and the Spirit wrapped itself in each note. Oftentimes, she sang Gospel songs just as well as the original artist. Throughout her membership at Second Baptist Church, she sang in various choirs.
Nicole had a sweet spirit. She volunteered many hours in the Human Services Ministry of Second Baptist Church.
Nicole leaves to cherish her memory: Her Mother, Ms. Linnie Philpot; Sister, Ms. Deborah Wilbanks; Aunts, Ms. Anna Philpot and Ms. ]annie Philpot; Uncles, Mr. John Philpot and Mr. Thomas Philpot; Cousins. Barbara, Harvey and]ames McNeil of Detroit; and a host of family and friends.
"Her smile and the sparkle in her eyes will surely be missed".
