Robert "Bob" Phillips was born in Savannah/ Georgia on December 131 19231 the only child ofWillie and Rosa Phi/Ups. Bob attended elementary school in Georgia/ at the age of 13 came to New York to live with his Aunt and Uncle. He entered the US Army in 19431 receiving an Honorable Discharge in 1946.

Bob was employed in various positions until joining the Lowes Summit Hotel and Restaurant Chain where he retired in 1993. While living in New York1 he met his life long companion jeanette Hawkins. Afier suffering illness Bob and jeanette recently moved to Stone Mountain1 Georgia to reside with their daughter and loved grandson.

The angel ofdeath visited and took our beloved one

on july 211 1997. Bob is survived by jeanette

(Hawkins) 1 his daughter Deborah j ohannes1 Fernando Hill ofNew York1 Curtis Brown of New York and grandson (soul-mate) Brandon
